Description

The Camera Hardware Engineering group is responsible for all research, design, development, calibration, test, and qualification of camera & image sensing hardware for Apple products. This team is seeking for an exceptional Camera and Image Sensor Validation Engineer with responsibilities for the evaluation, qualification, calibration, testing and benchmarking of Apple camera and image sensing products.
Core Responsibilities:
• Developing/performing Lab and MP intent type testing HW and SW for various sensing device characterization, calibration and test.
• Authoring the test plan documentation and Test & Calibration SW of image sensing modules
• Design, and develop the SW suite for evaluating, calibrating and testing image sensing HW for the large volume production.
• Design, develop and provide the test/calibration infrastructure for MP
• Performing the large scale build data analysis
• Deliver executive level presentation

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years experience
• Good fundamental EE skills
• Strong communication skill and professional, self-Motivated, ownership taking working personality/ethic/discipline
• Exceptional HW/SW problem solving skill
• Strong knowledge of Sensing Hardware / Principal would be big plus
• Professional Level Optical Engineering expertise would be big plus
• Familiarity with mechanical design would be big plus
• Good SW development skills. Especially the position requires the proficient C/C++ programming and various algorithm prototyping and development skill. Objective-C Experience is plus. Also, the board level FW development experience would be highly appreciated.
• Experience with prototyping the solutions, bench testing methodology and testing environments for image sensing hardware would be big plus.
• Familiarity with processing large sized test result (statistical analysis) Additional Requirements
• Frequent travel to both Apple and suppliers facilities will be required for production bring up.
