Description

Apple Pay is seeking an experienced Intern to join the Apple Pay team to work with BD team to maintain partnerships and strategic alliances with banks and networks in Asia. Partnerships will be focused on identifying business opportunities and working with partners to grow volumes.
The candidate will support BD team to work closely and effectively with Apple Pay business leaders, Worldwide Developer Relations, product marketing, and engineering product teams to execute partnership strategies. He/She will need to support BD team to work with internal and external partners to drive major strategic initiatives and enhance product features.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge of banking industry, online and mobile payments and contactless payments.Demonstrated passion to ideate, create and deliver new, innovative customer experiences with banks and network partners though the introduction of Apple Pay is a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Work with BD Manager to manage relationship with China issuing banks and support BD team to work with their teams to develop business opportunities for Apple Pay.
• Support BD team to work with China issuing banks product, market and operation teams to secure a required number of cards provisioned and grow payment volume.
• Work with BD team and internal cross-functional teams to define partners, product requirements, negotiation strategies.
• Work with internal stake holders and external stake holders to drive and develop major strategic initiative and enhanced product feature in the Apple Pay ecosystem.
• Support BD team to continually manage partnerships delivering new feature enhancements and ongoing support to drive customer trial and usage.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with 3+ years business development and relationship management experience at multinational companies.
• Skilled at helping partners identify, navigate and overcome technical or systematic complexities to drive adoption of new technology.
• Excellent judgment, presence and mature personality.
• Superior communication skills - written and verbal, fluent in Chinese and English.
• Self-starter who works effectively in a fast paced environment and is comfortable managing ambiguity.
• Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
• Energetic and collaborative team player who feeds off of goal setting and achievement.
