Description

In this position, the intern will be responsible for designing a standardized training curriculum and skills testing of industrial X-Ray Computed Tomography(CT). The candidate will be expected to learn the fundamentals of X-ray computed tomography and failure analysis. This is an internship with a 12-month timescale and an expected deliverable of a complete training program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• In this position you need to understand the entire process of CT Scanning and Failure Analysis
• You will work with CT FA engineer to design training curriculum and skills testing in terms of CT Scanner operation and failure analysis.
• Conduct beta test at manufacturing sites and optimize the program.
• Design score card to track initial& refresh training.
• 2 days per week working at Apple manufacturing site.
• 2-4 consecutive weeks hands-on training at U.S FA Lab. (subject to the project situation)

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate student majoring in material science, nondestructive testing, or image process.
• Experience with training and curriculum design
• Good understanding of the digital imaging
• Experience in technical writing and presentation
• Previous X-ray experience is not required
Personal Skill Set:
• Strong interpersonal skills (required to establish and maintain close relationship with deferent levels from vendors and Apple)
• Ability to travel to different manufacturing sites and US. Driver license and drive experience is plus
• Strong attention to detail and perfection
• Ability to lead a project in an unattended manner
• Flexibility and adaptability to accept new tasks
• Dynamic and “can do” attitude with the desire to work with a great team and products
