Description

Join the team responsible for the localization and release of all Apple products. We are a passionate group dedicated to bringing the best products to China. We are looking for highly motivated students to join our team.
There will be opportunities to work with an amazing team that prides themselves with innovation and a simple clean user interface. Strong regional knowledge is critical as this role requires focusing on regional specific functionality.
The ideal candidate should be self motivated, a strong and creative problem solver, one who pays meticulous attention to detail, is highly organized, and has good communication skills. Every individual on our team makes a clear difference to our products.
Responsibilities will include:
• Working on software localization and cloud based services for China market
• Building up and maintaining the infrastructure to collect and analyze local feedback for Apple products
• Reproducing issues reported by customers

Requirements

Required Experience/Skills:
• Major in Computer Science, or equivalents
• Native or accredited fluency in Chinese. Fluent in English. Cantonese or Shanghainese is a plus
• Web application building up and maintenance experience (Ruby on Rails, PHP, MySQL, etc)
• Scripting experience (Perl, Python, JavaScript, R, etc.)
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills are essential
Preferred Experience/Skills:
• Familiar with OS X and iOS
• Experience in data analyzing
• Student project experience in areas of classification and information retrieval, natural language processing, and the like
• Interest and background in translation, internationalisation and localisation
